From CNBC to Forbes to Yahoo Finance, the 2017 FlexJobs Top 100 Companies list is making headlines, showcasing the work-at-home movement.
Reports Áine Cain of Business Insider: “More and more people no longer want to be tethered to an office. In fact, a 2016 study from FlexJobs found that 65% of respondents believe remote work would boost their productivity.”
The annual report, based on more than 47,000 companies in the FlexJobs database, ranks the businesses to watch offering the most at-home opportunities.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, FlexJobs is a recognized authority in finding legitimate part-time and freelance work, stating: “We hand-screen every job and company.”
This year, Working Solutions made the Top 10, earning the #7 spot. In 2016 list, the company again ranked in the Top 10 at #9. In 2015, it came in at #13.
“Every year, the FlexJobs Top 100 garners more and more media attention,” said Kim Houlne, chief executive and founder of Working Solutions, a leader in contact center outsourcing. “From the Work at Home Mom Revolution to Monster, remote work makes news and gains momentum.”
Laura Shin, of Forbes, writes: “Industries that are most likely to offer remote work include the computer and information technology fields, medical and health, and government and finance. Customer service, education and training and sales also feature a number of telecommuting jobs.”
The beauty of the remote workforce model is its flexibility for workers and its scalability for companies, said Houlne. “It fulfills the needs of both. And that’s a 21st-century business solution.”
