Workforce Flexibility: Working Solutions Ranks #2 on FlexJobs’ Top 100 Companies

Dallas, Texas – Working Solutions, a leader in on-demand contact center outsourcing, continues to rank among the highest on FlexJobs’ Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs. This year’s recognition again names organizations in the vanguard of flexible workforces so essential for success today.

In 2023, this woman-led, customer-service company placed in the Top 10 at #2. It has made the respected jobsite’s list nine times in a row, beginning in 2015. The company’s recent growth is attributed to its resilient business model, which attracts strong brands and enhances client performance.

Kim Houlne, Working Solutions chief executive and founder, welcomed the news, saying: “A lot of businesses are concerned with finding—and keeping—qualified workers. This year’s ranking reaffirms our ability to attract top talent, developing the best agents to benefit clients for the long term.”

Virtual Workers Fill a Gap

Houlne pointed out more organizations are turning to contracted, virtual customer service and sales. The pandemic accelerated the trend. With distributed resources, being remote affords companies the flexibility to deal with unforeseen events, as well as pivot for everyday-business fluctuations.

“We’ve worked with professional agents for 27 years,” she said. “The experience helps us perfect how to recruit, educate and operate effective, remote workforces. This capability, in turn, enables our clients to scale up and down to meet ever-changing customer needs and market demands.”

The 2023 FlexJobs list is based on an analysis of about 58,000 companies and their job-posting histories in its database between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022. A remote job is defined as a professional-level position that enables someone to work from home.

Recognition Spans Years

Dallas-based Working Solutions — with service and sales agents in the United States and Canada — placed #4 in 2022, again #4 in 2021, #5 in 2020, again #5 in 2019, #10 in 2018, #7 in 2017 and #9 in 2016 in the rankings. Being ranked this year at #2 showcases the growth of Working Solutions’ business. It also highlights the confidence that clients have in the company to handle this important customer channel for them.

Other organizations on this year’s list include Williams-Sonoma, American Red Cross and PNC.
