Working Solutions Hiring 2,800 Service Agents for the Holidays and Beyond

Dallas, Texas – Working Solutions, a leader in on-demand contact center solutions, is named by remote work expert FlexJobs as being among businesses hiring en masse this holiday season.

After reviewing its database, FlexJobs included Working Solutions—which is filling 2,800 customer service openings between now and April 2019—among “16 companies doing heavy seasonal hiring.”

Other businesses making the list are:

  • Omaha Steaks, prime meat and gourmet food producer
  • PricewaterhouseCoopers, professional/business services provider
  • Williams-Sonoma, the multichannel, home-goods retailer

“It’s always great to be with such well-known brands,” said Kim Houlne, Working Solutions chief executive. “With record unemployment in 2018, competition for workers is intense this holiday season.”

In naming the 16 companies, FlexJobs cites statistics from outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, which estimates holiday hiring at more than 700,000—up a little more than 1% from a record set four years ago.

“While we are hiring for the holidays, the demand for contact center agents is year-round,” said Houlne, who founded her woman-owned company in 1996.

Today, on-demand customer reps provide sales and service for everyday business, emergency situations such as hurricanes and blizzards, and special projects, including marketing campaigns and product rollouts.

Depending on the program, some agent assignments turn into longer-term positions. “For us, there’s no let-up in the search for talent to not let our clients down, whatever the business cycle or season.”
