FlexJobs Top 100 Work-from-Home List

For businesses big and small, remote work is just as relevant as ever. FlexJobs, a work-from-home authority, reinforces that fact in its 2018 Top 100 companies offering such opportunities.

For the third year running, Working Solutions made the Top 10, joining Amazon and Dell. Based in Dallas, Texas, the company is a leader in on-demand contact center solutions, providing customer care, sales and tech support.

Widespread coverage of the FlexJobs list reports the merits and proof points behind the remote workforce movement, of which Working Solutions is a long-time industry leader.

Interestingly enough, the most recent FlexJobs list follows a year when some corporations, such as IBM and Aetna, began bringing back their remote workers.

Why? Perhaps to promote better collaboration when faced with more innovative competitors. Or maybe, their original brick-and-mortar business models didn’t adapt well to today’s mobile workplace.

In either case, Working Solutions’ operations were virtual from the start, since 1996. And the company’s workforce of remote agents, all independent contractors from across North America, were on-demand from Day One.

Says chief executive Kim Houlne: “With our workforce, flexibility is built into the business—from recruiting the best agents to ensuring client performance. The people who we contract, and the companies that hire us, appreciate it. And that makes for good news about today’s modern workplace, wherever it resides.”
