Working Solutions’ Volunteer Program Could Provide 3,000+ Hours of Service

Dallas, Texas –Working Solutions, a leader in on-demand contact center outsourcing, is ramping up its corporate responsibility in the New Year. The onshore company is offering each of its 140 employees up to three paid days off for community service toward charitable or nonprofit organizations.

In all, that could add up to 3,300 hours of volunteerism in 2019—all compensated by Working Solutions, which runs remote customer care operations across the United States and in Canada.

Kim Houlne, founder and chief executive, said this new community outreach is a natural outgrowth for the company, entering its 23rd year in business. “Employees identify with our clients. They live and work in the same places where we serve their customers.”

As a volunteer, everyone can contribute—a little or a lot, she believes. “It deepens our roots and enriches relationships not only within our own communities, but could extend throughout the world,” said Houlne, who served on the City of Plano’s Sustainability Committee. The municipal entity encourages and enables citizens, often single parents, to become fiscally fit and buy their own homes.

At the year-end, Working Solutions will select three organizations served by employees, providing each a donation as a show of additional support.

“Charity begins at home and in the workplace,” said Houlne. “And what’s given to others is gotten back, many times over, in shared benefits and blessings.”
