Carlos Zapatero joins Company


Specializing in Hispanic Markets

Plano, Texas (March 21, 2015) – Bringing more than a dozen years of cross-cultural experience in contact center services, Carlos Zapatero joins Working Solutions as senior vice president of development for business process outsourcing (BPO).

A native of Lima, Peru, who grew up in Texas, Zapatero’s expertise in Hispanic markets complements Working Solutions’ multicultural BPO services and initiatives, which support customers in more than 30 languages.

To his new role, he brings:

  • 12+ years of providing complex, U.S. Hispanic customer service solutions to FORTUNE 500 companies
  • Success in developing one of the best utility industry practices in business process outsourcing
  • Leadership in go-to-market sales processes, driving sustained double-digit, bottom-line growth

Before joining Working Solutions, Zapatero served as president of Granada Corporation, which focused on the Hispanic market. There, he oversaw corporate strategy and business development for this specialized customer service, work-from-home provider.

Previously, he worked as senior vice president of sales at Teleperformance Group, one of the largest customer support outsourcers in the world. Zapatero was instrumental in expanding the company’s Hispanic nearshore market growth.

While there, he also launched one of the industry’s most successful utility service practices in the BPO industry, which included four of the top five utility companies in Texas.

Prior to that work, Zapatero was an early employee and executive at Hispanic Teleservices Corporation, a boutique provider of Hispanic nearshore customer service solutions.

He built the business development organization and managed corporate services. Within four years, his team generated $45 million in sales before The Carlyle Group bought the company in 2007.
