From Newport Beach to Dallas, Troy Hesselgesser, Senior Vice President of Business Development, has a career deep and diverse in serving name-brand clients across many industries.
His experience spans developing a direct sales model for such high-profile enterprises as SpaceX, Disney, Pixar, Hormel and Churchill Downs. Creating close business relationships with FORTUNE 500 C-suite executives. And operating corporate websites such as bluedoorway.com and SmartMobileApp.com.
Before joining Working Solutions in 2016, Troy ran sales and business development at Noribachi, a premier LED lighting manufacturer. Under his leadership, sales increased more than 70% in a year. In less than two years, revenue soared 700%—and was on track to more than double in 2016.
At blur Group, procurement enterprise services, he expanded its U.S. market with a global creative exchange and increased revenue quarter over quarter by 75%. As vice president of development at Colberg Technologies, he generated sales and strategic partnerships for mobile apps and advertising. At PRS Media Group, a marketing partner for businesses, Troy directed brand-building and managed relationships with FORTUNE 1000 companies.
A University of Southern California graduate, he’s lived in eight states and three countries. “Such was the life of military kid,” recalls Troy, whose father served 23 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel.
Troy has sold to companies such as Disney Studios, SpaceX and Toyota. Whatever the business, he works to understand it. “That way, you create customized solutions, based on wants—not just needs.”
As owner and partner of the Beso Restaurant in Hollywood, Troy has learned how to improve his cooking, anticipate customer flow and interact with celebrities. Such skills translate well in selling solutions. “It’s all about knowing clients’ operations—from the inside out.”
Troy once skied on the University of Southern California Waterski and Wakeboard team. There, he capitalized on the power of centripetal force, accelerating into his turns. Now, he applies such hyperphysics to business every day, maximizing outcomes for clients with center-seeking focus.
