FAQs: Application Process
How do I apply to become an agent?
You’ll see a link to our
Agent Application form on the left. Take a few moments to
thoroughly
and accurately complete the entire application. Doing so will give you a better chance of
being contacted for project work.
Can I submit my resume and/or application by mail?
The Agent Application must be completed online. If you have trouble opening the application
form, please be sure you have performed a Windows Update recently and are using Internet
Explorer 6.0 or higher to view the site. You may paste resume information into the Comments
section of the application. Please do not mail or email your resume.
Is there more than just an application?
Yes. Once your application has been submitted, you will have the opportunity to take Part 1 of
our online testing at that time, or you may return and complete it at a later time. When Part 1 is
completed, you will receive instructions on completing Part 2 of the testing. After both parts are
complete, your application will be added to our database and will be screened as soon as possible.
Where do I find instructions for Part 2 of the testing?
In order to access Part 2 testing instructions, including the phone number, please
log in here. After you log in, you will find a red
button at the top of your application. Click the button for Part 2 testing instructions.
Why is Part 1 of the testing not working?
Be sure you are using Windows Media Player and have installed all recent Windows updates. You
may also need to disable your internet security program before taking the test, as some security
programs will block access.
Can I retake the tests?
Unfortunately we are not able to allow retests at this time. We have a large number of
candidates, and we are presently only allowing one test attempt per candidate.
How do I know if I passed the testing?
You will be notified by email on whether or not you have not met the standards we have set for
our agent group. If you meet the criteria, your application will be placed in the "pending pool,"
and you will be considered for project opportunities that appear to be a good match with your
skills, experience, home office set up, and availability.
How do I get my application reviewed right away?
We review the applications and test results in the order in which the application was originally
submitted. When we have reviewed your results, we will contact you. Please keep in mind there are
many agents interested in contract work. It might take a while to get started, and not everyone
can be placed on a project; however, we do our best to contact you as soon as possible.
How do I know if I’ve been selected for a project?
As soon as there is a potential match between the project and your application and testing, we will
contact you by email. The Project Notification email will detail the specifics of the available
project. If you accept the terms and are selected for the project, an agreement will be drafted
stating that you are an independent contractor for Working Solutions. It will also outline the
scope of the project and your required objectives.
How do I prepare for my project?
After being selected, you will be scheduled to go through a virtual preparation session prior to
beginning work on the project.
How long will it take to be selected for a project?
Because there are many qualified agents waiting for work, it can take several weeks to several
months to be notified about your first project. New projects can begin at any time, and each one
has different requirements. Please be patient. You do not need to email us regarding your
status. We will contact you as soon as a project becomes available. Be sure your
ISP and/or email programs are set to accept email from anyone with an @workingsol.com email
address so you will be able to receive information from us.
Do I need to apply more than once?
No, you should only complete one application. Any additional applications will be deleted.
Can I update my application after it has been submitted?
Yes, you may update your record at any time, using the "Update your Application" button and
the password you establish when completing the initial application. You will need to use the email
address you originally provided in your application to access your record. It is very important that
you keep your application updated with a valid email address. This is how we will contact you regarding projects.
Do you have work available for someone in my state?
Yes. Our agents work virtually from their home offices, so most projects can be completed from
anywhere in the U.S.
Do you hire Agents who reside outside of the United States?
Yes, we are able to contract with individuals from anywhere in the world; however, many call
center projects are limited to US residents due to telecommunications expenses.
Why is my password not working?
The password is case-sensitive, so be sure you entering the correct case as well as the correct
letters and numbers.
How do I retrieve my password?
Please go to “Update Your Application,” and you will find a link below the “Login” button to
retrieve your password.
